Man charged after alleged Saskatoon road rage
A 37-year-old man is accused of hitting a woman in the face following an alleged road rage incident downtown on Wednesday.
City police said witnesses told them the man and the 22-year-old woman were in separate vehicles and going north on Idylwyld Drive when both attempted to turn left onto 20th St. W.
According to witnesses, the man cut in front of the woman and caused a minor accident, police said.
Police also allege the man got out of his car and started yelling at her and when she rolled down her window, he struck her in the face.
Police arrived and charged him with assault. He was also ticketed under the Traffic Safety Act for driving without reasonable consideration for others.
