Home burns, woman charged with arson
A woman has been charged with arson following a house fire Tuesday on the Pheasant Rump Nakota First Nation in southeast Saskatchewan.
RCMP and fire fighters were called to the reserve at around 9:20 p.m. and when they arrived, they found a house engulfed in flames.
Initially, people at the house said they thought there was one person still inside.
However, investigators later determined that everyone got out safely.
No one was hurt, but the house was completely destroyed.
Seana Laine Manyfingers, 23, was taken into custody Wednesday and charged with arson.
She's scheduled to appear in Estevan Provincial Court on Thursday morning.
