Hockey star Hayley Wickenheiser gets spot on Walk of Fame

Move over, movie stars — Olympic hockey great Hayley Wickenheiser is getting a spot on Canada's Walk of Fame.

Olympic hockey star hails from Shaunavon, Sask.

Move over, movie stars — Olympic hockey great Hayley Wickenheiser is getting a spot on Canada's Walk of Fame.

Wickenheiser, 36, has four gold medals from the Games and one silver and has been called the greatest female hockey player in the world.

Wickenheiser, who hails from Shaunavon in southwestern Saskatchewan, is one of a group of six to be inducted into the hall.

Her star will being unveiled in Toronto on Oct. 18.

She'll be in good company on the sidewalk of famous Canadians — Saskatoon hockey great Gordie Howe is also memorialized there.

Other 2014 inductees include:
