Fire has destroyed a hockey arena in Beauval, Sask., a building that has been decribed as the social centre of the community.

Fire has destroyed a hockey arena in Beauval, Sask., a building that has been decribed as the social centre of the community.
Fire crews from Beauval and Île-à-la-Crosse were called to the fire at the Charles Gauthier Arena Wednesday at around 5 p.m. CST. 
Beauval is about 310 kilometres northwest of Prince Albert. (CBC)

The arena is not located close to any fire hydrants and crews were unable to get enough water to contain the blaze, RCMP said.
The fire destroyed the building completely, according to RCMP. Fire examiners are trying to find out what caused the fire. There were no injuries.
