An escaped prisoner whose Facebook account said "Catch me if you can" has been caught.

Solomon Toutsaint, 21, was arrested Sunday in Black Lake, Sask.

He had previously been in custody making a court appearance in Black Lake on Jan. 21, but got away.

While he was at large, messages appeared on Toutsaint's Facebook account, including "Catch me if you can lol" and "Imma bad boy."

Police had earlier noted that Toutsaint is not a violent offender and was before the court on two charges of breaking and entering.

Stony Rapids RCMP said they got a tip about Toutsaint's whereabouts on Sunday morning and located him at a home in Black Lake, which is in the province's north, close to the border with the Northwest Territories.

He was arrested without incident and taken to cells in nearby Stony Rapids.

He was scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
