The Regina Folk Festival is hitting a big milestone and once again, CBC Saskatchewan will be there.

We're pleased to sponsor this event and we'll be hosting the Sunlit Stage 2 in Victoria Park, Aug. 9-11. Our CBC street team has dreamed up some extra activities to keep your toes tapping.

Our kick-off event on the Sunlit Stage 2 will be on Friday, Aug. 9 featuring music from Megan and Jenna Nash.

Meet the artists

On Saturday, Aug. 10, following his workshop performance at 1 p.m., you can meet Colter Wall and get your picture taken at the CBC social wall.

Popular Edmonton pop singer-songwriter Ruth B will also be joining us at the CBC social wall at 3:30 p.m., prior to her workshop.

On Sunday, Aug. 11, there's no time for rest. Get ready for four more performances hitting the daytime stage. Our final performance will feature Franco-Folk-Tronic with H'Sao, AfrotroniX, Folle Avoine and Shawn Jobin.

There are so many Saskatchewan artists this weekend that you will definitely be feeling provincial pride everywhere you go! Come to the CBC Sunlit Stage 2 to check out performances by Connie Kaldor, The North Sound and recent Canadian Gold certified The Dead South, to name just a few.

CBC Saskatchewan is proud to co-present this special workshop shining the light on Canadian Indigenous artists making waves across the country and around the world. Join us for the sounds of Quantum TangleCeleigh CardinalThe North Sound and Ila Barker.
