Campaign signs removed from Sask. legislature

There was a scramble to take down some federal campaign signs at the Legislative Building Tuesday morning — and now there's a mystery.

Who stuck the two blue Conservative signs into the ground there, on either side of the steps leading to the main entrance?

Political advertising is not allowed within the legislative precincts, and the Ray Boughen signs weren't up very long.

Minutes after CBC's cameras arrived, workers removed them. It's not known who placed the signs.

A call to the campaign office of Ray Boughen, who's the Conservative candidate in the Palliser riding, was not immediately returned.

The legislative grounds are actually within the boundaries of the Wascana riding.
