Body found in North Sask. River near Prince Albert
It was spotted along the riverbank east of the city by two kayakers
A body was found in the North Saskatchewan River near Prince Albert on Sunday.
It was discovered by two kayakers along the riverbank just east of the city near the airport.
They called Prince Albert Police around 5:30 p.m. CST.
Police were able to recover the remains from the water with the help of the fire department.
An autopsy has been scheduled and police are working to identify the body.
The coroner's office is also involved in the investigation.
