Join week-long celebration of local, science-based activities
Science Literacy Week is capitalizing on one of Canada's most impressive facts - it has the longest coastline in the world!
The theme this year is all about oceans; everything from challenges facing ocean communities to ocean health.
The week-long celebration is taking place September 16-22 and will involve local science-based activities highlighting outstanding scientists and science communicators from all over Prince Edward Island.
Do you know how to code? PEI Public Library Service and Kids Code Jeunesse are offering a Code Your Own Aquatic Adventure! program for ages 6-12 which will combine coding and ocean science. For a look at a full listing of events on Prince Edward Island, see the poster below.
