RCMP investigating after break and enter call
RCMP are investigating after vandals broke into a home in eastern P.E.I. and threw paint over the walls and on some personal belongings.
Souris police were called last Thursday about a break and enter at a residence on Route 16 in St. Margarets. The incident had occurred several days before, said RCMP Cpl Scott Stevenson.

"The culprits had entered the residence and basically threw paint over the walls and did some writing with paint on the walls causing significant damage to the interior of the residence," he said.
"And also during this, during the paint throwing and whatnot, some of the property belonging to the residents would have suffered a lot of damage as well, personal effects and whatnot."
The owners of the home live off the Island, Stevenson said.
A police dog was used during the investigation. There are currently no suspects.
