Robert Ghiz will take over as president of CEO of the Canadian Wireless Telecommunications Association in the new year, the group announced Monday.
The premier of P.E.I. from 2007-15, Ghiz is currently a senior business advisor with Gowling WLG, an international law firm.
"Robert's extensive experience with all levels of government, as well as his well-earned reputation for forging strong strategic partnerships, will help ensure the wireless industry can continue to invest and innovate so Canadians can maximize the value of their wireless experience," said CWTA chair Garry Fitzgerald in a news release.
