Child porn case had local victims, say Charlottetown police
27-year-old faces eight charges in total
Charlottetown police located a number of victims from P.E.I. when they began investigating a child pornography case in March.
The investigation began March 21, when one victim discovered the pictures. Some of the victims did not know their intimate pictures were being posted to the internet, say police.
A 27-year-old Charlottetown man has been charged with five counts of publishing an intimate image without consent and three counts relating to child pornography.
The accused has been released on conditions, including a condition of not possessing or using any electronic device that can access the internet.
