Northumberland Ferries P.E.I.- N.S. crossings resume

Northumberland Ferries Ltd. has resumed crossings between P.E.I. and Nova Scotia Sunday afternoon after rough seas cancelled service earlier in the day.

Northumberland Ferries Ltd. has resumed crossings between P.E.I. and Nova Scotia Sunday afternoon after rough seas cancelled service earlier in the day.

There are usually four scheduled crossings from each side at this time of year.

Environment Canada gale warning that was issued for the Northumberland Strait Sunday morning is still in effect.

Ferries that sail between North Sydney, N.S., and Port aux Basques, N.L. also remain in port Sunday morning.
