Liberal Leadership Convention: CBC providing live coverage

CBC's coverage of the convention continues Saturday, hosted by Bruce Rainnie, from the Prince Edward Island Convention Centre in Charlottetown

The live coverage on Saturday will begin with an online pre-show at 2:30 p.m.

Liberal MP Sean Casey and Compass political panelist Rick MacLean will join Bruce Rainnie for CBC's live show to offer analysis at the convention.

Rainnie, will be broadcasting live from the P.E.I. Liberal Leadership Convention Saturday. 

The convention is being held at the Prince Edward Island Convention Centre in Charlottetown. 

Coverage will begin at 2:30 p.m. with an online pre-show.

Live coverage will begin at 3 p.m. on television, radio and online.

Liberal MP Sean Casey and Compass political panelist Rick MacLean will join Rainnie for the live show to offer analysis at the convention.

On Saturday, the convention will feature appearances by special guests, entertainment and the leader's address.

A tribute was given to outgoing Premier Robert Ghiz on Friday night. He served for 12 years as P.E.I. Liberal leader, eight years of which were as premier. He announced his resignation as premier in November.
