Harness driver Jody Jamieson took Canada's top prize at the National Driving Championship in Charlottetown over the weekend.

The 34-year-old Ontario man had four wins and two runner-up performances in the eight-race competition. His 81 points placed him well above second-place finisher Gilles Barrieau of New Brunswick, who scored 57. P.E.I.'s Kenny Arseneault came in third with 51.

Jamieson had previously won the National Driving Championship in 2001. He will go on to represent Canada at the Worlds later this summer.
