Federal Green Party Leader Elizabeth May is scheduled to pay a visit to P.E.I. Tuesday as part of a tour of the east coast.

According to a release issued by the party, May will take part in a rally in the legacy garden just behind the CBC building on University Avenue, where she'll be joined by P.E.I. Green MLA Peter Bevan-Baker.

In the evening she'll attend a social at the Charlottetown legion.

This is the first announcement of a visit from a federal party leader to P.E.I. during the current election campaign.
