Fire causes family, tenant to flee

A family of three and their tenant were forced to flee their burning home in Mount Pleasant Wednesday evening.

Tyne Valley firefighters responded to the fire at around 6 p.m.

There is extensive damage to the building, which is located on Route 2.

No one was injured.

The Canadian Red Cross helped the individuals find a place to stay, and some food and clothing.
