Since May 1 it has rained 59 days, a rate of just under two days out of every three.

Temperatures were also cool in July. The average daily high was 22.4 C. There were just six days when the temperature climbed above 25 C, and nine when it failed to reach 20 C.

Environment Canada is predicting below normal temperatures and above average rainfall will continue in August for most of P.E.I. The western part of the Island could get a bit of a break, with temperatures approaching normal.
