An east Ottawa Tim Horton's serenades drive-thru customers each morning.

Imagine going through the Tim Horton's drive-thru to pick up your daily double double, when all of a sudden you hear a free hit single.

That is a bit of an exaggeration but coffee lovers who rely on one east Ottawa Tim Horton's for their morning caffeine fix are also greeted with a short jingle each day.

The rush hour drive-thru in the city's Blackburn Hamlet neighbourhood always begins with a musical, "Can I take your order, please?"

Then it ends with a musical, "Thank you, have a nice day."

The singing customer service representatives began with a couple of Tim Horton's employees and now it is a morning tradition. You might hear anything from opera to pop.

Customers have now begun to expect the tunes, according to employees Rebecca Davey and Sydney Lalonde.
