Woman sells mother's artwork to raise money for other artists
All money raised will help give artists coping with mental illness supplies, space to work
An Ottawa woman is selling her mother's art to raise money for other artists coping with mental illness.
Canadian artist Christine Ross created a large body of work while battling mental illness throughout her life.
Her daughter, Siobhan Arnott, wants to make sure others dealing with similar challenges receive community support.
All the money raised by the sale of her mother's artwork will be donated to The Art Studio, a service offered by Family Services Ottawa that gives artists coping with mental illness supplies and space to work.
