OPP investigate sudden death at lake near Burnstown, Ont.

Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a sudden death in the Ottawa Valley after the body of an Ottawa man was found near his seasonal home on White Lake, near Burnstown, Ont.

Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a sudden death in the Ottawa Valley.

A man called police around 6 p.m. on Tuesday to report a neighbour had discovered a dead body near an island in White Lake in the Township of McNab/Braeside, about 90 kilometres west of Ottawa.

Police said 60-year-old Michael Burrows of Ottawa was found in the water at his seasonal home. 

A post mortem is scheduled for Wednesday. 

Police said foul play is not suspected.
