Steve Morrier, chief alchemist and owner of Split Tree Cocktail Co., appeared on the CBC show on Wednesday evening to sell his product and look for financial help to boost the business.

Morrier also stopped in Thursday to speak with Robyn Bresnahan, host of CBC Radio's Ottawa Morning, about the deal and his excitement.

"It was fantastic. It went better than I could have ever hoped," Morrier said.

Morrier received three offers, which was surreal, according to the former high-tech worker turned brewery worker turned cocktail extraordinaire.

"I didn't even know you could make your own tonic. As soon as I found out you could make it, I started playing with recipes," he said.
