Justin Trudeau, 11, reviews Return of the Jedi after Ottawa premiere in 1983
Justin Trudeau was just 11 in May 1983 when his father, then prime minister Pierre Trudeau, took him to see Return of the Jedi at Ottawa's Somerset Theatre.
'It was better than the Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars — at least I think so'
Justin Trudeau was just 11 years old in May 1983 when his father, then prime minister Pierre Trudeau, took him to see Return of the Jedi at Ottawa's Somerset Theatre.
The CBC's Brian Nordlund managed to get a quick interview with the younger Trudeau after the screening was over.
"It was better than The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars — at least I think so," he said.
Nordlund also talked to some people who had waited in line since 5:30 a.m. to see the third instalment of the film franchise.
