Police see spike in what they describe as 'honour' crimes
Ottawa police have seen an increase in what they are identifying as so-called "honour crimes."
In the past month alone, police said they have investigated three cases.
Police sources confirm that the case of an Ottawa realtor charged with the attempted murder of his wife and daughter is being investigated as an honour crime. Labib Khawas, 55, appeared in court Thursday.
