Police arrest 6 teens for drug offences in Gatineau

Five Hormisdas-Gamelin high school students and an 18-year-old man were arrested today for possessing and trafficking marijuana.

Six Gatineau teens were arrested and charged with a variety of drug trafficking and possession offences at Hormisdas-Gamelin High School Wednesday.

According to Gatineau city police who made the arrests, five students involved ranged in age from 15 to 17 years. One was charged with trafficking and the remaining four were accused of possession.

Another 18-year-old man swept up in the school drug operation was not a student. He was arrested for possession of marijuana for the purposes of trafficking. 

Both suspected dealers were released with a promise to appear and the others were released by way of summons and handed over to the school.
