Wednesday brings a 3rd straight day of rain

More rain is not something people are looking for but unfortunately we can expect some showers, maybe with thunder and lightning, by mid afternoon.

More rain is not something people are looking for, but unfortunately we can expect some showers by mid-afternoon.

There is even the possibility of an early evening thunderstorm.

Rain could fall through most of the night with a low of 5 C.

More rain has already fallen this May than all of May 2018, with Saturday the only day in the seven-day forecast without a chance of showers.

It won't be as chilly today as Tuesday, with a high near 14 C (the normal high for mid-May in Ottawa is closer to 20 C).

Temperatures may hit 20 C by the long weekend, so keep your fingers crossed.
