Snow and freezing drizzle done, for a few days

Close to 10 centimetres of snow fell overnight, now we're in for a warmer day.

Today's high 0 C; skies decently clear until Saturday

A bit more snow will be on the roads when you wake up on Thursday, so give yourself extra time to make the trip in. (Claudine Richard/CBC)

Ottawa got close to 10 centimetres of snow overnight, with some light freezing rain starting at about 5 a.m. at the airport.

Now that it's past, look for cloudy skies with the wind picking up out of the west gusting close to 50 km/h.

We may briefly get above 0 C, especially south of the city.

A fine stretch of weather moves in for Friday and Saturday with some sun and mild conditions.

But it turns messy Saturday night, with a snow to freezing rain to rain setup.
