Ottawa mother copes with ALS
Siobhan Rock was an athlete and a new mother when she was diagnosed with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. She's hoping an aerobics marathon this weekend can raise awareness of the disease.
Siobhan Rock was an athlete and a new mother when she was diagnosed in May with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease.
Now she's helping to organize an aerobics marathon on Sunday afternoon at the University of Ottawa's Montpetit Hall to help raise money for the ALS Society of Canada and raise awareness of the disease.
