North Dundas man faces child porn charges

Ontario Provincial Police have charged a North Dundas Township man with having sexual contact with a 14-year-old child.

Ontario Provincial Police have charged a North Dundas Township man with having sexual contact with a 14-year-old child.

Police said they began their investigation two weeks ago after receiving a report the accused had sexual contact with the child.

Police searched his home Wednesday and seized 17 computers, related computer equipment, audio and video recording equipment and a quantity of marijuana.

The 36-year-old man was charged with invitation to sexual touching,  making sexually explicit material available to a child and two counts of possession of child pornography, as well as drug-related charges.

Police said more charges are pending.

He is scheduled to appear in a Cornwall court on Monday.
