Ottawa police have charged a man in connection with a sexual assault at the Blair Road transit station.

Police said around 5 a.m. on Aug. 11, a young woman was sitting at the station when a group of young men approached her and offered her cash in exchange for sex.

When the victim refused, she said she was led to a secluded area beside James Naismith Road where she was robbed and sexually assaulted.

A security guard heard her screams and called police.
