Hazardous materials crews were called to a two-alarm fire Saturday afternoon at a commercial-industrial facility in east Ottawa.

At around 12:35 p.m., firefighters responded to a report that multiple vehicles and storage containers had caught fire at a facility at 2705 Stevenage Rd.

That address is home to Drain-All Ltd., an environmental waste handling company that the City of Ottawa uses as a location for its household hazardous waste disposal days.

Crews were able to bring the fire under control within an hour, said Ottawa Fire Services. As of 1:30 p.m., hazardous materials response units remained on scene.

No one was injured, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
