Gilbert McDonald, 48, arrested after smartphone found in women's locker room at CEGEP
A Gatineau swim coach has been charged with two counts of voyeurism after police allege he set up a smartphone to film the inside of a women's locker room.
Gatineau police said in a news release they arrested 48-year-old Gilbert McDonald of Gatineau on Friday after the discovery of a smartphone that was "strategically placed" in order to film the inside of a women's locker room in the Gabrielle-Roy campus on Cite-des-Jeunes Boulevard.
McDonald coached the CEGEP's swim team and is the general manager of the Club aquatique de l'Outaouais, according to police.
He was charged with two counts of voyeurism on Wednesday.
Police said they have no information about similar alleged acts by the accused, but their investigation is ongoing and anyone with information can call them at 819-246-0222.
