Fire destroys barn on Dozois Road in Ottawa's rural south end
No people or animals injured in Friday morning fire
Ottawa Fire Services is investigating a morning barn fire in the city's rural south end that resulted in close to $200,000 in damage.
Firefighters were called to Dozois Road around 9:55 Friday morning for a "fully involved barn fire."
They were able to get it under control within in an hour despite the hot temperatures, according to a news release.
They said the barn housed tools and excavation equipment but no animals.
No other buildings were damaged and there were no reported injuries.
