1 dead, 1 seriously injured in Greely collision
A man and a woman were taken to hospital in critical condition after a collision at 8th Line Road and Parkway Road in Metcalfe Friday night, paramedics said.
Passenger in second car in stable condition
One person is dead after a collision near Greely, Ont., Friday night, Ottawa police said.
The two car-collision happened just after 6 p.m. at 8th Line Road and Parkway Road.
Firefighters extricated a man and a woman from a vehicle.
They were taken to hospital in critical condition, paramedics said. One was later pronounced dead in hospital.
The man and woman were travelling in the same vehicle, according to paramedics.
Paramedics said one man from the other vehicle was also taken to hospital in stable condition.
The road was closed for several hours, but has since reopened.
