The National Gallery of Canada has partnered with CBC to present an exclusive screening of the award-winning CBC Arts documentary series In the Making on Friday, Nov. 8 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Peer inside the creative process of Canada's leading artists with this free event, which takes place in the gallery's auditorium.

Series creator and host Sean O'Neill will be in attendance, along with artists Laakkuluk Williamson Bathory, Cris Derksen, Jamie Griffiths and Christine Tootoo.

The episode features Laakkuluk, a performer of Uaajeerneq (Greenlandic mask dancing), theatre artist, poet, curator and artistic director of Qaggiavuut!, the performing arts society in Iqaluit, as she begins work on a powerful new collaboration with Derksen, Griffiths and Tootoo.
