Body found in St. Isidore identified
Joey Faubert, 24, had no fixed address; autopsy expected Monday
The body of a young man found on Saturday morning in the small town of St. Isidore, Ont., has been identified by Ontario Provincial Police.
Joey Faubert, 24, had no fixed address. An autopsy to determine cause of death is scheduled for Monday.
OPP spokeswoman Sgt. Kristine Rae said his family has been notified.
Police were called to the parking lot behind École élémentaire catholique Saint-Isidore at around 11:25 a.m. ET Saturday, near de l'École, de la Salle and Guy streets.
Anyone with information asked to contact police
A young, adult male was found dead in a grassy area.
At the scene later Saturday afternoon OPP cruisers were guarding the area, which was cordoned off with police tape.
École élémentaire catholique Saint-Isidore is located at 20 de l'École near Ste-Catherine, the town's main street.
