An airplane trolley somehow got loose, rolled down the aisle and struck five passengers during landing at the Ottawa airport, according to Air Canada.

The incident at about 1:30 a.m. ET Thursday involved Flight AC124, which was arriving in Ottawa from Calgary, said Peter Fitzpatrick, an Air Canada spokesman.

A 48-year-old woman — one of the five people hit by the trolley — was treated by paramedics for a foot injury, Ottawa paramedics said.

The aircraft was an Embraer E190 and 93 passengers were on board.

An investigation is ongoing, Fitzpatrick said.
