Woman shoved to ground, robbed of cellphone in Halifax

Halifax Regional Police are looking for two men who they say robbed a woman of her cellphone on Sunday night near the Halifax Junior Bengal Lancers stables on Bell Road.

Halifax Regional Police are looking for two men who they say robbed a woman of her cellphone on Sunday night near the Halifax Junior Bengal Lancers stables on Bell Road.

A 22-year-old woman was walking alone and talking on her cellphone at approximately 11 p.m. when she was approached by two men between the stables and Sackville Street.

The men grabbed her phone and shoved her to the ground, police said.

She was not injured.

Both men are described as black, between 20 and 25 years old. One was wearing a white T-shirt and a red ball cap while the other was wearing a black hoodie and dark pants.
