The woman killed in a house fire over the weekend has been identified as Dorothy Graham, 53, of Middle Musquodoboit, RCMP Sgt. Brigdit Leger said.

Graham's body was discovered inside a home on Higginsville Road Saturday afternoon.

An autopsy is scheduled for Monday in Halifax, Leger said.

The investigation is continuing to determine the cause of fire, she said, but police do not believe foul play was involved.

The fire broke out about 2:30 p.m. Saturday. The RCMP, Transportation Department, EHS and firefighters from the Dutch Settlement, Cooks Brook, Stewiacke and Middle Musquodoboit fire departments responded to the call.

The interior of the modest two-storey home was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived on the scene.
