Here and there

  • All major banks will be closed on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.
  • Mail will not be delivered on Dec. 25, 26 or 31 and all Canada Post offices will be closed.
  • Halifax public libraries are close at 1 p.m. Christmas Eve and reopens on Dec. 27.
  • All federal government offices are closed on Dec. 25, 26 and Jan. 1.
  • There will be no parking restrictions at the Nova Centre excavation site — with the exception of the marked site entrance gates— until Jan. 2, 2013.
