Unsolved Keya Simon homicide draws $150K tips reward
Dartmouth woman stabbed to death in 2011
A three-year-old homicide case in Halifax has been added to a provincial program that offers rewards for tips that result in convictions in major unsolved crimes.
Keya Simon died after suffering a stab wound to the chest on Jan. 8, 2011.
Halifax police responded to the 19-year-old woman's stabbing shortly after 11 p.m. at 117 Pinecrest Drive in Dartmouth, N.S.
Investigators say a large crowd at the site provided limited information and they believe there are people who know more.
The reward program launched in October 2006 and pays up to $150,000 for tips that lead to arrests and convictions.
People with information are asked to call 1-888-710-9090.
