Truck runs into Dartmouth home
Teen faces four charges, including impaired driving
Halifax Regional Police say a teen has been charged after they found an abandoned truck that hit a mobile home in Dartmouth early Sunday morning.
The vehicle was found around 6 a.m. after police received a tip that someone was driving erratically around Gaston Road and Lacombe Drive.
Police said the vehicle damaged the home, yard and driveway. They also said they found evidence of alcohol inside the truck.
Members of the RCMP were called in and the two police forces tracked down a 19-year-old man from Mineville.
He faces charges of impaired driving, property damage, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and failure to stop at the scene of an accident.
