Teen in hospital after being thrown from ATV
RCMP believe alcohol was a factor in crash
A 19-year-old male is in a Halifax hospital after being thrown out of the all-terrain vehicle he was a passenger on while travelling in Guysborough County, according to RCMP.
It's believed that alcohol was a factor in the crash, RCMP say, which happened at about 1:30 a.m. AT Sunday on Highway 316 in Country Harbour.
The victim was taken to the Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre in Halifax.
The 28-year-old driver now faces multiple Criminal Code driving offences.
He is scheduled to appear in Antigonish Provincial Court on Sept. 19.
