Teen flown to hospital after Hants County crash

A 16-year-old girl was flown to a Halifax hospital with serious injuries after a single-vehicle crash on a dirt road in Hants County on Sunday, say police.

The RCMP said the crash happened around 3:30 p.m. in Barr Settlement.

The girl was driving the vehicle. Her passenger, a 15-year-old boy, was taken to the Colchester Regional Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

The cause is under investigation.
