Syringe-wielding woman robs Hubbards pharmacy

A woman wielding a syringe robbed a pharmacy in Hubbards Sunday afternoon.

A woman wielding a syringe robbed a pharmacy in Hubbards Sunday afternoon.

The theft happened at Hubbards Pharmasave on St. Margarets Bay Road around 2 p.m.

The woman made off with prescription drugs. She left the scene on foot.

The store was closed following the incident.

A police canine unit has been called in to help with the investigation.

Police said they are looking for a blonde woman with shoulder length wavy hair, about five feet three inches tall, who was wearing a green printed shirt, black yoga pants, black flip flops, sunglasses, a camouflaged baseball hat at the time of the theft. The suspect has a tattoo on her right forearm and was carrying a red and white grocery bag.
