Iconic rapper joining Trailer Park Boys for upcoming episode

Snoop Dogg is making waves in Truro, N.S., this week as filming gets underway on the tenth season of the Trailer Park Boys.

The rapper will be making a guest appearance on the show, which is set in the fictional trailer park of Sunnyvale.

This spring, the rap icon tweeted his support for the cast's effort to oppose changes to Nova Scotia's Film Tax Credit program.

Ricky, Julian and Bubbles appeared in character on Snoop Dogg's variety-show-style web series GGN in October. The performers met while taking part in the Pemberton Music Festival last summer.

Actor Tom Arnold and Doug Benson are also part of the upcoming season.
