Halifax Regional Police are investigating after shots rang out in the city Thursday night.

Police received several calls around midnight from people living in the neighbourhood around Charles and Creighton streets.

After surrounding the area and investigating, they found a vehicle with bullet holes but were unable to find a suspect.

A search using a canine unit didn’t turn up any clues.

No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
