Shots fired at North Preston home
2 occupants were not injured
Halifax police are investigating shots fired at a home in North Preston early Thursday morning.
At about 1:46 a.m., Halifax RCMP received a report of shots fired on Cain Street. Shots were fired at a residence with two people inside the home, RCMP Cpl. Scott MacRae said in a release.
There are no reports of any injuries, he said, but the house was damaged.

Police say calls to Crime Stoppers are not taped or traced and if someone is arrested and charged based on a tip, callers qualify for a cash award from $50 to $2,000.
