RCMP seek man in Windsor, N.S. child luring incident

RCMP in the Windsor, N.S. are asking for help in identifying a man suspected of attempting to lure an 11-year-old boy into his car.

RCMP in the Windsor, N.S. are asking for help in identifying a man suspected of attempting to lure an 11-year-old boy into his car.

Police said the boy was approached by a man yesterday between 2:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. He was driving a beige, four-door sedan, possibly a Dodge.

They said the boy was walking along Windsor Road when the driver asked him to get in.

The boy did not, then ran to a nearby house.

No arrests have been made.

Police describe the driver as a Caucasian man, 30 to 40 years old with short, curly grey hair and a scruffy face with facial hair. At the time of the incident, he was wearing eyeglasses, a beige baseball hat with a blue bill and an unknown logo on the front.
