Police seek missing Membertou boy

Cape Breton Regional Police are asking for the public's help in finding a 10-year-old Membertou boy who was reported missing on Thursday afternoon.

Cape Breton Regional Police are asking for the public's help in finding a 10-year-old Membertou boy who was reported missing on Thursday afternoon.

Liam Trace Bernard Marshall was last seen leaving Shipyard Elementary School at approximately 9:15 a.m. on Thursday and was heading toward the Public Works building in Membertou.

He was wearing a black T-shirt with a design on the front, a bright blue hooded sweatshirt, jeans and black and grey sneakers with bright green trim.

Liam is described as approximately four feet six inches tall, weighing 75 pounds with short dirty blond hair and hazel eyes.

Cape Breton Ground Search and Rescue have been called to the area to assist patrol officers. Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
